Test Mode:

1. Navigate to Test Mode, located at the top of your dashboard.

2.Paste the Test URL

3. Choose a Window mode

Kiosk - will lock down the students' devices. This means they will only have access to the test. They cannot access the internet or notes.

Full browser -  will allow the student to access the internet during the test.

4. Dictate what happens after the test.

Do nothing - when a student completes the test, they will have routine access to the internet. Any restrictions put in place for the test will be lifted, and students will continue to have the same level of access as they did before the start of the test.

Blank Screen - When a student completes the test, and it has been submitted, their device will immediately lock and the screen will turn white. Until you end the test, student devices will remain locked.

Reopen Test - When a student submits their completed test, it will automatically reopen and be ready for the next student. It is commonly used in the event students share devices.

5. Choose close or don't close tabs

this is the option to close any websites (Tabs) the students currently have open before the start of the test. When Test Mode is engaged, all tabs will automatically close for the students.

6. Optional -Apply Outline

Outlines allow you to ensure students have access to any supplemental testing material without having access to the rest of the internet. You have access to all of your previously saved outlines, any of which can be applied during testing.

PLEASE NOTE: You do not have to apply an outline to use Test Mode

7. Test mode Summary - The summary will display your previous selections, as well as any filter exceptions currently in place. The filter exceptions originate from the rules outlined in the outline. If no outline is used, then filter exceptions will not appear.
